Waste Management Action Group


The Waste Management Action Group is made up of London Borough parks officers seeking to develop and share good practice around waste management.  Following the establishment of this Group in 2017, Parks for London has supported Keep Britain Tidy (KBT) to work with London Boroughs, to research interventions that may help to reduce litter in parks and save valuable park resources, these are: 1) Piloting behavioural interventions to prevent ‘abandoned picnic’ litter and 2) Trialling bin removal (funded by WRAP).   Please see below for the final reports of these trials:
