Health Parks are committed to tackling underlying health conditions and supporting the NHS by making our parks healthier. We all know that good parks are good for our health, both mental and physical, and valuable resources can be saved by using more social prescribing; but how can we maximise our parks for health? Now Councils, friends of parks groups and other stakeholders can find out for FREE, as Tisdall Associates are offering the full Green Space Audit at no cost, until the end of October 2020.
The full audit identifies the current health status of a park, with lists of improvements, and new opportunities. It shows how parks can be used to promote good mental health, support social engagement, and encourage physical activity. To find out more and to register for the audit please see Health Parks: latest Newsletter.
