Save Victoria Tower Gardens
A planning application has been submitted to Westminster City Council to have the UK National Holocaust Memorial and underground learning centre sited at Victoria Tower Gardens.
The LPGT have been working with the Save Victoria Tower Gardens (SVTG) and Thorney Island Society campaign groups to oppose this application on the basis that the memorial will compromise an important green space and would be better sited elsewhere, more details of the impact of this build can found on the SVTG web pages .
The public consultation is now open and LPGT would like to urge members of the public to make their views known by commenting online, you can do so here. The LPGT will shortly set up a webpage dedicated to information about the campaign so please continue to visit their website for latest news.
